PEPS(Parent Education in Pre-School Programme)

Parents are the primary source of values education for their children Research shows that the very first years of a child’s life are the most crucial as the building blocks of the brain are created. Parental involvement and parent education are important to raise confident and loving children with positive values.

PEPS aims to enhance the quality of family life of parents and their pres-school children by making family life education resources easily available at preschools through programmes and family life corners. The intention behind PEPS is to equip parents with skills to become effective and loving parents, to facilitate a conducive home environment for transmission of positive family values to pre-schoolers, and to nurture their love for learning, family and life.

In 2009, Little Oaks Montessori collaborated with Morning Star Community Services, a service provider of PEPS to build more awareness workshop and talks to our parents in school.
